Dr. Jean-François Lamarque
Founder

Dr. Jean-François Lamarque received his Ph.D. in Physics from the Catholic University of Louvain (Belgium). He spent over 30 years at the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR, Boulder, CO). He conducted research on atmospheric chemistry and climate. He led the development of the Community Earth System Model, which is used worldwide for climate research. He is the author/co-author of over 300 peer-reviewed papers with more than 100,000 citations (https://tinyurl.com/5emua669). He was a Senior Expert on Climate at McKinsey & Company (2022-2024), then Chief Scientist at SilverLining (2024-2025). Now he is the Head of research at the Three Cairns Group, He is a Fellow of the American Meteorological Society.
