Founder

Dr. Jean-François Lamarque received his Ph.D. in Physics from the Catholic University of Louvain (Belgium). He spent over 30 years at the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR, Boulder, CO). At NCAR, he conducted research on atmospheric chemistry and climate. He also led the development of the Community Earth System Model. He is the author/co-author of over 300 peer-reviewed papers with more than 100,000 citations (https://tinyurl.com/5emua669). He was also a Senior Expert on Climate at McKinsey & Company. He is currently the Chief Climate Scientist at SilverLining, a US-based NGO focused on near-term climate change. He is a Fellow of the American Meteorological Society.
